Summer Employment Opportunities

We are currently taking applications for the following Summer/Seasonal positions:

Lifeguards: Prospect and Memorial Pools - Must have current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications.

Concession Stand Workers: Memorial Pool and Veteran's Field.

Playground Supervisors and Instructors: Juniata Memorial, Leopold, Evergreen Manor, Valley View, and Highland Park.

Day Camp Instructors: Booker T. Washington Center.

Summer Maintenance: This is a seasonal position that will require applicants to work a minimum of 35 hours a week. The position will involve various tasks such as trash removal, ballfield maintenance, grass mowing, and weeding. For more information, please contact the Recreation Office at (814) 949-2231.

Pool Managers: We are currently accepting applications for the position of Pool Managers. Applicants should possess strong leadership and managerial qualities, with good public relations skills. Applicants must also possess current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications.
