General Information

Please Register Early:

Number of participants in a program is limited and registrations are taken on a “first-paid, first-served” basis. Also, if a program does not have sufficient number of participants registered by three working days prior to the beginning of the program, the program will be cancelled.

Complete Registration Form

Please be sure all information is correct and current. EVERYONE must pre-register. Mail or hand deliver your registration to the CBRC office, 2101 5th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602. CBRC instructors are not permitted to accept registrations or payments at the program site on the first day of the program. The program may be filled.

Payment

Payment of fees must accompany all registration forms. No registration is accepted without the payment. Please use separate checks for each participant and program for which you are registering. Do not mail cash. Make checks or money orders payable to CBRC. Cash, checks, VISA and Master Card are accepted at the CBRC office. There are normally discounted rates for both program & picture package costs if registering before the stated deadline. We cannot guarantee choice of building or field with registrations accepted past the deadline.

Program dates are subject to change. Participants provide their own medical insurance when participating in CBRC programs

Resident

The term "resident" applies to Altoona Area School District residents only. The term "non-resident" applies to those residing outside the Altoona Area School District.

Block Grants/Scholarship

Only the residents of the City of Altoona and Logan Township are eligible. Block grants/scholarships are limited and only apply to specific programs which change on a yearly basis. Proof of eligibility is required each time you register for a block grant/scholarship designated program. Prior eligibility records are NOT kept. To determine if you qualify, call the CBRC office at 949-2231.

Refund Policy

In order to receive a refund, you must call the office. We will gladly issue a refund, minus a $5 processing fee, for any multi-session program, prior to the second session. After the second program day, no refund is available. There are no refunds for one-day programs after the program has been held. Approved refunds will be mailed within three weeks of the request

Confirmation

Your receipt is your confirmation. Receipts, with program details, are available for all registrations. If you mail your registration and payment and desire a receipt, we require a self-addressed stamped envelope. CBRC reserves the right to make any changes in a program to provide the best possible instruction and facility use. You will be notified before the class only if there is a change.

Cancellations

CBRC reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient registrations. A full refund will be given. When in doubt of “weather or not” if one of our programs will be held, call the CBRC HOTLINE at 949-2234. The HOTLINE has updated information, regarding cancellations, rescheduled programs and other important information.

Photographs

Participants may be photographed during programs and activities. The photographs may be re-produced in our publications, including our semi-annual tabloid in May and December, or on our web page.
