Program Coordinator: We are currently accepting applications with resumes from qualified applications for the position of Program Coordinator. Duties include planning, implementation and supervision of year-round community recreation, elementary sports leagues, leisure-time programs, special events, swimming pool and spray park management and marketing. A Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Park Management or related field is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, creative thinking, sports-mindedness and an ability to work with youth are essential. All Act 153 clearances, a valid PA driver’s license, first aid and CPR certifications are required. Excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, IRA, paid holidays and PTO. Pool Manager: We are currently accepting applications for a Prospect Pool Manager for the summer of 2019. Applicants should possess strong leadership and managerial qualities with good public relations skills. CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Certificates, along with all clearances, will be required. Elementary Basketball Program – various positions: We are looking for gate keepers, scorekeepers and timekeepers for our Elementary Basketball program. We have basketball four nights a week (Mon-Thurs) at the E. Juniata Center, BTW Center and the Sixth Ward Center. Gatekeepers are $7.25 per hour, Scorekeepers are $7.00 per game and Timekeepers are $6.25 per game. Games begin the week of December 3rd. This is a great opportunity to earn some extra money. Part-time Rental Coverage: We are looking for people to staff rentals at our three community centers (East Juniata, Sixth Ward, BTW) mostly during the fall, winter and spring. Duties include opening and closing the building and staying while the rental takes place. Hours will vary, most are weeknight and weekends. Wage is $7.25 per hour.
